Impression Guide
Follow these steps for a perfect impression. Most customers get it right on their first try.
Prepare
Wash your hands and brush your teeth. Open the kit and familiarise yourself with the materials: 2 trays, putty sachets, and the prepaid return bag.
Mix the Putty
Knead the two putty colours together for 30 seconds until a uniform colour is achieved. Work quickly — you have about 60 seconds.
Load the Tray
Press the mixed putty evenly into the impression tray, filling it to the rim.
Bite Down
Centre the tray on your teeth and bite down firmly. Hold steady for 3 minutes — use a timer.
Remove Carefully
After 3 minutes, gently rock the tray front-to-back to release. Don’t pull straight down.
Repeat for Other Arch
If ordering upper and lower, repeat with the second tray.
Inspect & Return
Check that all teeth have clear, deep imprints. Place moulds in the return bag and post within 24 hours.
Do's
- Brush teeth before taking impression
- Work quickly once putty is mixed
- Bite down firmly and evenly
- Hold completely still for 3 minutes
- Post impressions within 24 hours
Don'ts
- Don’t eat or drink immediately before
- Don’t over-knead the putty
- Don’t move your jaw while setting
- Don’t worry if first attempt fails — we include spare material
